At its heart, intentional living is about aligning our lives with what matters most—our faith, our families, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

1. Start the Day with Gratitude
Gratitude shifts our perspective.
Instead of waking up immediately thinking about everything we must accomplish, gratitude reminds us that each day is a gift.
Psalm 118:24 says:
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Taking even a moment to thank God for the day ahead helps our hearts begin the day with joy rather than stress.
Gratitude can be practiced in small ways.
You might write down three things you are thankful for each morning. You might say a prayer of thanks while drinking your morning coffee.
Over time, gratitude reshapes the way we see our lives.
2. Simplify Your Schedule
One of the greatest barriers to intentional living is an overloaded schedule.
When every hour is filled, there is little room left for rest, reflection, or connection.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 11:28:

When our hearts are grounded in faith, our priorities naturally begin to shift.
Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
When we invite God into our decisions and daily rhythms, our lives begin to reflect His peace.
